Luna

Please meet Luna… Luna is a 3 year-old Golden Mountain Doodle (mix of a Goldendoodle and a Bernadoodle), she is a hypoallergenic dog. Luna and her owner, Amy Staley (School Social Worker) were certified through Professional Therapy Dogs of Colorado in April 2021.

Luna will be at school 2-3 days per week, primarily working in the front office to provide therapeutic intervention for a few PPA students.

Engaging in Animal Assisted Therapy at PPA is an optional intervention. While we are excited to have Luna here, but we understand there are circumstances in which families would not like their student to engage with Luna.

Please complete the following form if you would like to Opt your child Out of engaging with Luna.

For those families who are up for having their student engage with Luna please review the attached Student Participation Contract with your child(ren). Participation Contract
