ATTENDANCE REPORTING

 

If your child(ren) will be absent from school, the office staff need to know as soon as possible. Please use the Attendance Reporting Form to report an absence. If you forget to submit this form in the morning of the absence, a courtesy attendance message may be sent via phone or email. With this reminder, please connect with PPA as soon as you are able.

 

TARDY/LATE ARRIVAL

When a student arrives later than 8:15am (9:15am Late Start Tuesday Only), a parent/guardian must sign the student in for the day regardless of grade.

Students may not sign in for themselves.

 

  • The student and parent/guardian enter the main entrance.
  • The student is given a tardy slip or hall pass and sent to class.
  • Parent/Guardian completes the Student Sign In/Sign Out form by listing the date, student name, parent/guardian's own name, reason for the tardy/late arrival, and time of arrival.

 

Middle School students will be considered tardy after 8:00am (9:00am Late Start Tuesday Only). After 8:15am (9:15am Late Start Tuesday Only), middle school students will be considered a late check-in and given a hall pass.
Elementary students will be considered tardy from 8:15 to 8:25am (9:15am to 9:25am Late Start Tuesday Only). After 8:25am (9:25am Late Start Tuesday Only), elementary students will be considered a late check-in and given a hall pass.

 

EARLY DISMISSAL
Please bring your driver’s license for verification.
Please keep in mind that 2:45pm is the cut-off for picking up students before the driveline begins.

  • Please use the Attendance Reporting Form to request an early dismissal.
  • Office staff will call the student directly from class or give an Early Dismissal Pass (yellow). The student shows the pass to their teacher, gathers belongings, and will meet parent/guardian in the office.
  • Parent/Guardian will enter the main entrance and complete the Student Sign In/Sign Out form by listing date, student name, parent/guardian's own name, reason for early dismissal, and time of dismissal.
