P7) Drawing & Painting-Fall 26-27 Assignments

You will have 20 minutes to paint the fruit using watercolors in class. This is a pre-assessment, to see where you currently are in your watercolor knowledge and skill. Submit a photo of your painting at the end of class here.

Complete using the paper handout or complete the digital copy here. You will use the WWF website linked here to find the information on your endangered animal.

Early Finishers: Haunted Houss

Create a haunted house in your sketchbook! You can use the slides for reference.

Submit a photo of your artwork for grading.

Draw your own culture jar in your sketchbook or using the template using markers and color pencils. Use your iPad for images and use your imagination. Submit a photo of your work when you are done.

Choose an endangered animal to draw for your next project. Find reference photos and attach the photos to the slides here. I attached a link to research endangered species.

Learn about 5 endangered animals and answer the questions. Choose one to draw in your sketchbook. Upload an image from your sketchbook here.

Submit a photo of your finished artwork.

Compare and contrast the two paintings in the slides by reading the paragraph, answering questions and writing comparison notes.

Complete the packet for bellwork.

Submit a photo of your illuminated manuscript here (your initial oil pastel drawing).

Purchase a 9 x 12 sketchbook for the class. On the front cover, write your full name and period. Take a photo of it and submit photo here to turn in. Purchase a pack of 8+ #2 pencils. Keep a few in your backpack, the rest go in the box on Mrs. Pop's desk.

You will bring your sketchbook to class daily. You have the option to leave it in the classroom in the crate labeled for your class.
