Due:
Write a paragraph explaining what song you want to use for the Thespy Project and why you think it is a good choice for your group. Pull details from the song (lyrics, sheet music, music style, choreo ideas, etc.) for your evidence!
Be sure to include the song title, show, and group members!
EXAMPLE:
Aubree, Zaffy, and I would like to perform “Hero is My Middle Name” from Spongebob the Musical for our Thespy Project. The song has three distinct characters that fit our personalities - Sandy is smart like Zaffy, Patrick is chill like Aubree, and Spongebob is hyper like me. This song fits our vocal ranges which means we would be able to sing it with all the harmonies as written. We have a lot of ideas of how to choreograph this song, such as a body percussion section since the music is upbeat and has a catchy chorus. With the fun characters and music style, “Hero is My Middle Name” is a great choice for our Thespy Project.
