It’s Not Too Late to Enroll at PPA for 2025-2026

Finding a school that’s the right fit for your child can sometimes feel overwhelming. Colorado’s education leaders understand this which is why October 1st is Count Day – the day all public school districts in the state report the number of students enrolled. That means it’s not too late to join us at Parker Performing Arts School (PPA), the only public charter arts-focused K-8 school in Douglas County.

Make the Change Now

We have a limited amount of spaces available across our grade levels. If your student has expressed an interest in a different type of learning experience, we have a spot for them at PPA where every student spends half the day exploring the arts and the other half in academic classes.

Three elementary students practice reading a book together.

PPA is a creative school for creative kids. By blending academics with art, we offer an artistic approach to learning with added benefits.

“Studies show that there is a correlation between art and other achievement. A report by Americans for the Arts states that young people who participate regularly in the arts (three hours a day on three days each week through one full year) are four times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement, to participate in a math and science fair or to win an award for writing an essay or poem than children who do not participate.”

From academic classes where students work on academic subjects in a blended, one-to-one, technology-supported environment to arts space where they practice the four artistic disciplines of music, theatre, dance and visual arts our kids are developing skills all day long in a no-risk environment that encourages them to give all forms of creative expression a try. No audition is required to attend PPA, allowing students to participate in multiple art disciplines with no need for previous experience.

It's an Easy Adjustment

PPA is a welcoming environment where friendships grow. Our teachers, staff, and Parent Community Association will make the transition easy for everyone in the family. We’ll help students catch up with work they may have missed during the opening weeks so they’ll get on track quickly. And we’ll answer all your questions, too!

Students perform a dance from Wonka on stage.

There are only a few weeks left before Count Day. Contact us now to enroll in the PPA elementary school before it’s too late.
