YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” – Helen Keller
In previous years, we had a requirement to complete 30 volunteer hours for each family and 15 hours for single-parent families. Due to COVID-19 and working to stay healthy, the requirement will not be followed during the 2020-2021 school year.
With that being said, we DO need help every day with our driveline drop off and dismissal. Please take a moment to sign up for a shift or two (or MORE). We use "Help Counter" to manage our volunteer sign-ups, and when you click any of the links, you will be taken to their webpage. If you are new to PPA, please create an account for each adult that will volunteer at the school.
Our car line is always a great way to support PPA. We offer times before and after school. https://www.helpcounterweb.com/ci/signup/149e8484f4a
Morning driveline support times: 7:30am - 8:15am
Afternoon driveline support times: 3:00pm - 4:00pm
These times are only for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
NO FRIDAYS! :)
You may sign up through Help Counter - or simply show up! We can always use more adult support as students begin and end their school day. Sharing a smile and kind words always makes an impact and may be exactly what a student needs in that moment.
Thank you for your help and support! We are looking forward to a fun and successful school year together!
General Volunteer Guidelines
At Parker Performing Arts we believe building strong partnerships with parents, teachers, students and staff creates a happy, engaged community. We welcome the many diverse talents you volunteers bring to our community, and we honor your commitment to making PPA the best it can be.
Our school Bond Rating and Charter Renewal requests and evaluates volunteer participation data. High participation demonstrates our parents’ commitment to the long-term viability of the school.
WHAT IS MY VOLUNTEER COMMITMENT?
Each two parent family commits to volunteering a minimum of 30 hours and single parents complete 15 hours by July 1st each school year. Families will receive a quarterly accounting of the hours they have donated.

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO EARN VOLUNTEER HOURS
Parents may also choose to make a monetary donation in lieu of working their volunteer hours. Every $25 donated counts towards an hour of volunteer time. Parents are responsible for recording their donated hours via the online volunteer log in HelpCounter.
